Frances Catherine Dickinson, 98, of FW, passed away on 8/11/18. She was the daughter of Walter and Martha Smith of Garrett. She retired from the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission where she was Executive Secretary and the founder of the Women's Auxillary. She served on the board of Winsome Women, was a founder member of the Mayors Prayer Breakfast and was a founding member of Project Mercy. She served on many different boards, was a woman's motivational speaker, and she led tour groups all over the world. In 1977 she was honored as the Indiana Mother of the Year. She is survived by two sons, Jon Dickinson (Diana) and Timothy Dickinson (Lenka) and daughter Pamela Test (Paul), four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and eight great great children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dr. Charles F. Dickinson, brother, Walter A. Smith, Jr , sister, Norma Brunson and one grandchild Kelly Holiday and son-in-law D. Pat Hoga.
