Evelyn Trietsch, 94, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Evelyn was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Kline Sr. Evelyn graduated from South Side High School. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and crocheting. She made an afghan for each of her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister to her family. Surviving are her children, Kathleen (Steven) Stauffer, David (Aleta) Trietsch; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Meyer; and sister-in-law, Laura Kline. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Trietsch, siblings, Naomi McNett, and Walter Kline, Jr. Service is 7 pm, Monday, February 24, 2020 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street with calling from 5 pm until the service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
