Evelyn Marie Dray, age 64, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Jerry Taylor and Lowanda Taylor, who survives, of Fort Wayne. Evelyn worked as a supervisor with Centennial Wireless, DANA Corporation, and Mattel. She will be remembered for having a deep love for her family, who she loved spending time with. Evelyn is also survived by her daughters, Crystal Broadnax, Danielle (Daniel) Ames, and Lindsay (Jason Pomfred) Dray all of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Raeleen Spurgeon, Zachary Burcham, Aralyn Ames, Gabriel Ames, and Alena Sommer; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray Taylor, Theresa (Fred) King, and Connie Henning; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Dray. Service is 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Calling also 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
