Evangeline "Evie" Ripley Lott, 3, of Fort Wayne, went into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Fort Wayne to her loving parents, Matthew and Lindsay (Garigen) Lott on January 10, 2019.

Evie lived a life of vibrant joy and adventurous curiosity. She loved everything and everybody with her whole being. She would fill the house with dandelions in the summer and catch snowflakes on her tongue in the winter. She jumped in puddles in the spring and collected leaves in the fall. She howled at the moon in the morning and gave us sweet nose kisses at night. She loved school and loved to dance. She never, ever met a stranger. She always kept us on our toes, exploring, creating, and climbing. She loved playing hide and seek with her daddy and playing make-believe with her mommy. She was wild and free and burned brighter than any star. We feel so fortunate that we had the time that we had with her. Her life was short, but full and well-loved. Our lives, and many others, are better for having known her. She will always be the best of us.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). In Evie's honor please wear bright, beautiful colors.
