Ethel "Cid" M. Fick, 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, with family by her side.

She was born on September 7, 1938, in Penn Township, Jay County, Indiana. Cid brought so much joy to those around her with her fun-loving spirit and wonderful sense of humor. Above all, she loved her family deeply and cherished the time she spent with them. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or quiet moments, her love was constant and unwavering.

She also found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially reading and working on crossword puzzles.

Cid is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Liechty and Mildred Marcelle Thornburg; son, Rick Fick; and granddaughter, Angela Pettigrew.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Jean) Fick, Lori (David) Faulkner, and Todd Fick; sister, Vera Ann Wyatt; grandchildren, Michael Fick, Justin Fick, Tracey Pruden, Kaitlin Schwartz, Sarah Marshall, and Colin Faulkner; great-grandchildren, Lillian Garner, Jordyn Pruden, Havyn Schwartz, and Bohdan Schwartz.
