Ernest Lee Brashear, 66, passed away at his home in Fort Wayne IN on September 22, 2024. Born in Elizabethtown, KY on February 11, 1958, he was the son of David Brashear and the late Viena (Hutcherson) Tyner. He grew up in Sims, IN and moved to Auburndale Florida where he graduated High School in 1976. After graduating High School, he joined the US Military (Army). Married Sharon (Boucher) Brashear on June 4, 1977, and had a son Rocky Brashear and a daughter Jenny Brashear. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service; after retiring from the Military, he began a career at Aqua Indiana. Ernie loved to fish and ride his Harley but when it came to hunting season, he would be in the woods. His wife Sharon of 32 years passed away in February of 2009. Ernest met Tatyana Zhukova in October of 2009; they were married June 7th, 2024. Tatyana has 2 sons: Igor Zhukov and Yuriy Zhukov. Ernest is survived by his wife Tatyana Zhukova, children Rocky (Tasha) Brashear, Jenny Brashear, Igor Zhukov, Yuriy Zhukov, Grandchildren Sedrik Brashear, Tatum Quay, Zander Quay, Alisha Brashear, Kayla Brashear, Jimmy Stump, Lilli Ana Stump, Abbie Brashear, Lettie Brashear, 2 great grandchildren, his father David Brashear and 4 Brothers: Tim Brashear, Elvis (Alisa) Binnion, Curt (Carol) Binnion and James (Vicki) Binnion.
Ernest was preceded in death by Sharon (Boucher) Brashear, Judith Brashear, Viena and Arnold Tyner, Vickie Warren and Carrie Templin. A graveside service will take place at Thrailkill Cemetery in Swayzee, Indiana (46986) at 1:00 pm on November 2, 2024.
