Eric M. Roller, age 58, passed away on March 20, 2026, in Auburn, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Mayo Roller; his brother, Brian Ray Roller; and his twin brother, Kevin Roller, who passed in infancy.
Eric is survived by his three children, Dylan M. Roller, Andrew Jacob Roller, and Reagan Lou Roller, who were the center of his world. His greatest joy and proudest role in life was being their father, and he loved them deeply. He is also survived by his mother, Caroline (Hackett) Roller and sister, Amy Ridener (Michael). Eric is also remembered as a fun-loving uncle by his many nieces and his nephew, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
A proud alumnus of Purdue University, Eric was a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Pittsburgh Steelers and had a deep love of many sports. As a young man, he was a talented pitcher and spent countless hours in the family backyard practicing with his father—memories that stayed with him throughout his life.
Eric enjoyed golfing, sharing a laugh, and playing pranks on those around him. He was known for his playful spirit and ability to bring energy and humor into any room.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no formal service. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Eric below.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric’s name to Little League Baseball and Softball, littleleague.org, honoring his lifelong love of baseball.
Eric will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for sports, and the many happy moments shared with those who knew him.
