Eric Buhr, age 59, passed away Thursday, August, 8th, 2024, in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Robert and JoLee Buhr. Eric was a successful businessman co-finding Fort Wayne Internet, northern Indiana's first internet service provider before co-owning BBK Group, a telecommunications consulting firm. Eric was an avid fisherman and sports fan and loved supporting his children in all their activities. He was a member of Blackhawk Christian Church for many years. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, and committed friend. Eric is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Ellen Buhr; children, Mekenzie Buhr, Logan Buhr, and Grace Buhr; sisters, Rena (John) Morris. Patrica (Dennis) Rohrs, and Michele Black. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Buhr, Richard (RuthAnne) Buhr, and Sharon Buhr. A memorial service will be held in honor of Eric at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N.
