Mary "Elizabeth" Love lost a long-fought battle with Lupus on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born in Bluffton, Ohio on September 6th, 1950 to the late Thomas and Ruth (Miller) Friskney. She lived a life surrounded by love and an appreciation for simple pleasures. She loved to spend afternoons watching the birds, playing her favorite hymns on the piano and making art. She spent years dedicated to children, from working in daycares and Sunday schools to raising her children Rachel (Dennis Clawson) Love and David C. Love, and watching her grandchildren: Samantha Maroney, Heaven Clawson and Dezaray Clawson. She is survived by her husband David H. Love, a love admired by many and her siblings, all her children and grandchildren, her mother and her siblings: Steven Friskney, Esther (Bob) Curry, Lois (Bob) Santel, Paul (Ann) Friskney, Sara (Jason) Jones. A service will be held in her honor at 1 pm, Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her longtime church Southwest Church of Christ, 5500 Ardmore Avenue, with calling one-hour prior. She will be laid to rest in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Southwest Church of Christ.
