Elizabeth "Kady" Aumiller's Obituary
Elizabeth "Kady" Aumiller, 75, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kady was a daughter of the late Robert and Dena (Nordman) Berning. Kady earned her Bachelor's Degree from Valparaiso in 1970. She worked for Outboard Marine Corp and AT&T for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, fishing, and playing bridge. Surviving are her beloved friend, Donna Schaal; step-children, David (Kay) Aumiller, Janet (Steve) Powe, Judy (Vince) Lochbihler, Tracey Aumiller; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Sandy) Berning, Marge (Paul) Gevers; 3 nieces; 1 nephew, 4 great-nieces; and 2 beloved companion dogs, Doogie and Emma. Kady was preceded in death by her husband, John Aumiller; and sister, Carol Berning. Private Family Services. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
