Eldon M.. Zahm 92, passed away April 17, 2018 in his home. Born in Huntington, IN he was the son of Eugene F. Zahm and Edith M. Zahm. He was married to Patti Mari (Hiser) Zahm for 40 years until her death in 1990.

Eldon honorably served in the United States Army Air Corps as an intelligence instructor for Air-Sea Rescue. He attended Huntington College and Indiana University. He served with the Field Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was a Real Estate Broker and home builder, owner of Zahm Real Estate in Huntington and Fort Wayne. He was National President of the American Turners, honored by Governor of Indiana "Sagamore of the Wabash," and Kentucky "Colonel". Eldon served his community, family and country with honor.

Surviving are sons; Richard E. (Jonna) Zahm II, Rock L. Zahm, daughters; Michelle "Mike" (David) Judd, Richelle Renee (Neil) Fenstermaker, Danielle "Dani" Zahm and Dina D. Zahm. Also surviving are two brothers Maurice E. Zahm and Larry E. Zahm, seven Grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an older brother Captain Richard E. Zahm, Army Air Corps, who was "killed in action" in 1943. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Edna M. Zahm and Virginia E. Glasson.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior at FairHaven Funeral home 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Calling hours will be Monday, April 23, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission will be matched. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
