Edward Allen Roy, 71, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. Born in Angola, Indiana, Ed was a son of the late Edward C. and Lorraine E. (Clark) Roy. He worked for Advance Mixer in Fort Wayne for 30 years building and delivering cement trucks. He loved being outdoors, fishing, studying maps and giving directions. He loved socializing with his friends and enjoyed nature. Surviving are his longtime companion, Vicki Grime; 3 daughters; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; siblings, Ronald (Shari) Roy, Pamela (Jim) Hiser, Sharon Krug, Peggy Roy, and Patricia (Rob) Rhodes. Ed was preceded in death by his brother Charles A. Roy. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held at 2:00 the afternoon of Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Grabill Country Fair Building (Fudergong), 13720 First Street, Grabill, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Sharon Krug. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
