Edith M. Cole, 92, of Fort Wayne, went Home to the Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born in Linn Grove, IN on August 25, 1932 to the late Eddie and Cora (Hendricks) McFarland. She graduated from Decatur High School. She was a devoted homemaker. Edith attended Grabill Missionary Church. She loved helping others and was the hands and feet of Jesus.

Surviving are her children, Eric (Jan) Cole, Brent Cole, Valerie (Jim) Badiac, Karen (Vince) Torrez, and Paul (Tina) Cole; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, David Cole; son, Greg Cole; and sister, Imy Abbott.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation two hours prior. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
