Earl Saylor, 84 of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on December 23,2021. He was Born October 5,1937 in Harlan County Kentucky to the late Lloyd and Francis Saylor of Harlan County Kentucky. Earl worked many years for the Brock Candy Company in Chicago, Illinois. Eventually Earl started to work for the W.H. Hutchinson & Son where he was a Union Rep for the United Steelworkers of America in Chicago, Illinois where he later retired. He was a member of Victory Life Church where he truly enjoyed being with his Church family. Earl is survived by his children, David (Kathy) Worel of Alaska, Valerie Saylor of Kentucky; grandchildren, Emily and Robert Worel, Gulianna, Gwyne, and Gabriella; great-grandchildren, Mary Ann Niels and Benjamin Joseph III; sister, Ollie Mae Saylor Caldwell of Kentucky, Frances June Saylor Arnold of Michigan; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his brothers, Lee Roy, Gordon, Albert, Richard and Ricky Saylor; sisters, Betty Sue and Lillian Saylor; and nieces Audrey Saylor, Mary Frances Taylor and Henrietta Brown. Earl had many friends and Very Special Friend Shirley Turner who he truly adored. Service is 1 pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Victory Life Church, 1502 Rose Avenue, with calling from 11 am until the service.
