Douglas Duane “Doug” Mosley, 62, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Born in Martin, Kentucky, Doug was a son of the late Floyd and Georgene (Spears) Mosley. During his working years, Doug worked in maintenance for several foundries, including Kendallville Foundry and Auburn Foundry.
Doug was a devoted family man who cared deeply about the people he loved. He had a full and vibrant personality and was often the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time around a bonfire, listening to country music, and keeping up with the news each morning. Doug liked to stay informed about current events and was always up to date on what was happening in the world. He also enjoyed taking pictures and capturing memories with the people around him. Above all, his family was very important to him, and he cherished the time he spent with them.
Surviving are his daughter, Stephanie McMann; grandchildren, Layla and Tyler Hepworth; siblings, Troy Mosley, Donald (Kathy) Mosley, Sara (Tommie) Phillips, Floyd Timothy Mosley, Carolyn Gibson, Teresa (Bud) Mosley, Jerry Mosley, and Patricia Mosley; and his longtime best friend, Melissa Herrera.
Doug was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Mosley and Connie Dorton.
Private family services will be held.
