Douglas E. Holley: 1940-2025
Doug spent 50 years of his life in Christian Ministry. Through the years he held ministries in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. His last ministry was as Chaplain at Golden Years Homestead for 10 years before his retirement.
Doug loved to preach and teach about the Lord he served for so long. The joy he received while working among people was evident in the love people gave back to him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, and survived by their 2 children, Heather and Luke; 3 grandchildren, Becca, Zac, and Zeke; and 2 great-grandchildren, Parker and Hunter.
He is also survived by his wife Kay and 2 stepchildren, Thomas and Rhonda; 3 step-grandchildren, Matt, Steve, and Katie; and 3 step-great-grandchildren, Maggie, Kole, and Grayson.
A memorial service will take place at Golden Years Homestead Assisted Living Building at 8300 Maysville Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, on January 10th at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
