Dorothy A. (Wheat) Christman Rioux, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1934 to the late John and Helen (Bookout) Wheat in Portland, IN.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Cyndie (Les) Zorger, Rick (Terri) Christman, Amy Christman, Rose (Bruce) Terrell, Tim (Sheryl) Christman, Beth (Kevin) Marhenke, David (Julie) Christman, and Mindy (Preston) Davis; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Shifferly; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Anthony Christman; brother, Tom Wheat; and former spouses, Charles L. Christman and Robert Rioux.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 20, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 with a rosary service at 7:30 pm. Burial will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery.
