Dorothy E. Overholt, age 89, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Dearborn, MI to Homer and Burnis Ayers. Dorothy worked as an executive assistant with Peter Eckrich & Sons and as an administrative assistant with Edgewood Chiropractic Center. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society, and also participated in the Fort Wayne Civic Theater. Dorothy is survived by her children, Brent Overholt and Brenda Overholt both of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Overholt; brother, Norman Ayres; and sister, June Lutz. Service is 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Rd. with calling two hours prior beginning at 1:00 pm.
