Dorothy May Coppolino, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family after courageously battling cancer for six years Dottie was born in Fort Wayne to the late Edward and Cleo Worden. She was a Snider High School graduate. Dottie worked at Piere's Entertainment Center as a manager for over 20 years. During her employment there she made lots of friends and enjoyed the service industry. Dottie retired as a purchaser from SDI. Dottie was known by all who loved her for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those closest to her. Family was truly at the heart of Dottie's life. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, finding the greatest happiness in their love and laughter. She enjoyed painting in watercolors, gardening, visiting Brown County and traveling. One of her most treasured places was Jellystone Park in Pierceton, where she created lasting memories watching her daughters and grandchildren grow up there, continuing the tradition she so deeply cherished. Her presence will be forever missed, but her legacy of resilience, joy, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Dottie was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Manz, and Kristin Coppolino; grandkids, Jayden, Gavin, Keaton, Addisyn, Ellianna, and Everly; sisters, Sherry (John Wonderly) Baker, Sandy (Bobby) King; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Gracie, who brought her endless comfort and joy. There will be a public visitation on Aug. 28, 2025, from 10 am -12 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Rd., with a private family service immediately after, interment will take place at Leo Cemetery, in the old section. Preferred memorials may be directed to Faith Baptist Church.
