Doris D. Wappes, age 88, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Russell and Ethel LeFever. Doris worked as an office administrator at 7up Bottling Company and was a member of the American Legion. She is survived by her children, Mike (Karen) Wappes and Pam (Larry) Burns; grandson Matthew (Chanda) Luley; and great-granddaughter, MacKenzie Luley. Doris was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wappes and three brothers. A graveside service will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery, Monday, December 9.
