Doris Mae Earley, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was born to the late Fred and Marjorie (Bath) Schichner in Chicago, IL on December 3, 1937. She graduated valedictorian Bloom High School class of 1955 and later from Bob Jones University in 1959 with a degree in education. She was a special education teacher with School District 167 in Glenwood, Illinois for 39 years. She also was a vital member of the Glenwood Lady Lions.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Robin Berkery; grandsons, Brad (Sara) Gouwens and Cameron Berkery; five great-grandchildren (Sophia, Brian, Daphne, Liam, Caleb). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, (Kevin Earley) and her brothers Bill (Bette Jo) and Terry Schichner.

Per Doris' wishes there will be no services at this time.
