Donovan Leonardo Cammalleri, 15, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born to Frank Cammalleri and Giovanna Follo on February 14, 2010 in Emporia, KS. Donovan was starting his 10
th
grade year at Snider High School where he was in the marching band. His two passions were the Snider Mighty Panthers Marching Band and Boy Scouts Troop 2. He was only a year away from receiving his Eagle Scout Award. His contagious smile was shown through his eyes. Donovan lived life. Loved to travel. He loved science and math and aspired to be a nuclear engineer so he could make a difference in the world.
Donovan is survived by his loving parents, Frank Cammalleri and Giovanna Follo; brother, Dylan Cammalleri; uncles, Joe and John (Suzanne) Cammalleri; cousins, Cristina, Matthew, Philip, and Steven; and beloved scouts and marching band friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 25, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A wake will follow the service Friday at the Scout Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship is being made in Donovan's honor for the Snider High School Marching Band to help other students. Checks can be made to Snider High School and have Donovan Cammalleri written in the memo line of the check.
