Donald L. Ternet, 59, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Bernon and Mildred Ternet. Don worked as a graphic designer for TMP Marketing for 22 years, the Post & Mail Newspaper of Columbia City for 5 years, and most recently the Fort Wayne Newspaper for 5 years. He attended The Chapel, and enjoyed participating in the Chain O' Lakes barbershop chorus. Don was also very artistic and enjoyed painting and gardening. He is survived by his wife and "Sunshine" of 35 years, Brenda Ternet of Fort Wayne; children, Adam Ternet of Fort Wayne, Jessica (Nathan) Stiverson of Virginia Beach, VA, and Danielle (Ty) Douglas of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Noah and Grace; four sisters; and four brothers. Don was preceded in death by one brother. Service is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at The Chapel, 2505 Hamilton Rd. S., with calling two hours prior. Memorials may be made to the family.
