Donald Paul Schuessler, 73, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Bremerton, WA, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born to the late Harold Fred and Vera Beatrice (Loeber) Schuessler on April 28, 1952 in Gross Pointe Farms, MI. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Business. Donald retired from his private CPA business. He was a member of Holy Scripture Lutheran School and a former member of 47 years at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bremerton, WA. Donald enjoyed reading WWII books, playing pinochle, gardening and especially green grass. He loved of music, baseball, UM football, and his Savior.

Donald survived his loving wife, Rachel; children, Lindsay (Ried) Peckham and Justin (Elyssa) Schuessler of Seattle, WA; grandson, Barron Schuessler; brother, Robert (Kathy) Schuessler of Livonia, MI; and sister, Carolyn Schuessler of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Schuessler.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Lutheran High School in Tacoma, WA.
