Donald Gene Brown, 79, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Auburn and Albion, IN passed away on Thursday, Jan 18, 2024 at Parkview Randalia in Fort Wayne, IN. Born June 14, 1944 in Kendallville, In, he was the son of Arby Don & Ruth Etta Brown. He was the youngest of 4 children. His passions were farming and driving. He married his high school sweetheart, Janet Bowman and had been married for over 57 years. He worked several places driving truck, including the Noble County Highway Dept, Klink trucking & Starcraft. When they retired, they became snowbirds and spent half their time in sunny Florida for over 12 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet and his brothers; Johnny Harold & Ronald Hugh and his granddaughter; Heather. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Frazier (Todd), his son Donald Brown Jr (Tonya), both of Fort Wayne, IN and his sister, Shirley Stoneburner of Albion, IN. His grandchildren; Jessica (Jerry), Dillon(Ariel), Tyson & Destiny; great grandchildren, Brayden, Jayden, McKenzie, Cooper & Insley. There will be no services.
