Donald G. "Don" Bergman, age 87, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Donald L and Helen Bergman. Don proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of D.G. Bergman Plumbing and Heating. Don was a member of American Legion Post 47 and 409. His passion was Mustangs, and he shared that passion with his family and friends as a long time member and past president of the Old Fort Mustangers Club. Don is survived by his daughters, Kimee (Timothy) Hines of Fort Wayne, and Vickee (Wesley) Harding of Hamilton, IN; son, Thomas (Shana) Bergman of Woodburn, IN; grandsons, Braden (Kaihla) Hines, Brock Hines, Ryne Harding, Bryce (Sarah) Harding, Mason (Andrea) Bergman, Collin Bergman, and Dalten Bergman; great-grandchilden, River, Mila, Nicolette, and Kenneth; brothers, Ronnie, Dale, Harold (Linda), David, and Rex. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Judy Bergman; two sisters, Carol Stout and Bonnie DuCharme.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:00am at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be held on Monday, October 20th, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
