Obituary
Donald Paul Baker, 52, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Fort Wayne on February 3, 1973 to the late Don and Pauline (Nix) Baker. Don graduated from Bishop Luers in 1991 and Indiana University. His passion was playing basketball, he also enjoyed hiking, fishing, and playing poker with friends and family.
Don is survived by his wife, Randi; daughters, Haley, Madison, and Kendall; grandson, Jaxson; siblings, David (Ann) Baker, Karen (Mark) Hill, Dan (Linda) Baker, Kathy (Richard) Longmeier, and Kimberly (Jim) Hill; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Michael and Meryl Esslinger; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Pauline Baker and father-in-law, Dennis Rilling.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to Don's grandson and future grandchildren's education fund in care of Randi Baker.
