Dolores A. Moilanen, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on April 7, 2024. She graduated in Devil's Lake North Dakota, 1947, where she was Salutatorian of her class. Dolores worked as a stenographer, and secretary for the family business. She was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday School. Dolores is survived by her husband of 74 years, Ken Moilanen; daughters, Diana Moilanen of Cleveland, Lila (Dave) Pufahl of Fort Wayne; son, William Moilanen of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Richard Moilanen; brother Roger Iverson. Funeral service for Dolores will be held on Monday, April 15, at 1:00 pm with calling one hour prior at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Rd. Calling will also take place on Sunday from 4-6 pm at church. Preferred memorials may be directed to the church. Arrangements entrusted to FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
