Diana Susan Lohr, age 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 12, 2026. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She was a beloved daughter of the late Jerry Hettinger and Joy Hettinger, who survives her. Diana was a graduate of Northrop High School.
Diana found happiness in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved the beach, tending to plants, attending church, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafting and antiquing, always appreciating creativity, history, and beauty in the world around her. She was a dedicated worker for Parkview Health in the Sterile Processing department, where she took pride in her work and serving others. Her strong spirit, caring heart, and devotion to those she loved will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Keri) Lohr Jr., Sarah Lohr, and Kathryn (Ryan) Chambers. Diana was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ridley, Dru, Declan, Noah, Chloe, Emerson, and Cedar, each of whom brought her immense joy.
She is also survived by her siblings Terri Heisy, Jerry Hettinger Jr., and Joanna Hettinger, along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lohr Sr., whom she loved deeply.
A Celebration of Diana’s Life will be held at 12:30 pm, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Grace Communion Church, 1121 Trick Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808 with calling from 12 pm until the service. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
