Diana L. Byers, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away on Monday August 3rd, 2026, at her home. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Elijah “Sandy” and Doris Richmond. Diana was a graduate of Northside High School.

Diana was a waitress at Bandidos at Georgetown for over 25 years. She later worked at Meijer on 37 in the deli department.
Diana was a dedicated member of the Planet Fitness on Maplecrest Road where she could be found nearly every day.

Diana is survived by her sisters, Sandy Gray, and Darlene Schneider; nieces and nephews, Christina (Steve) LaBundy, Kelly Gray, Dawn (Brent) Cooper, Brian (Misty) Schneider, Jill Schneider, Josh Richmond, and Timothy Richmond; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Richmond, and Timothy Richmond; niece, Shannon Richmond; and nephew, Joey Richmond.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and once those details are known, Diana’s obituary will be updated.
