Diana Lynn Brooks, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. She was born to the late Harry and Helen (Lamb) Powell in Danville, IL on December 22, 1953. She married Randy Lee Brooks on March 5, 1977 in Danville, IL. She worked for Meijer in Fort Wayne for several years. Diana loved quilting and was apart of a quilting club. She also loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.

Diana is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Randy; daughters, Shannon (Shelby) McMillan of West Monroe, LA, April (Jason Reynolds) Brooks of Garrett, IN, Rebecca (Jeff Lovell) Brooks of Woodburn, IN, Christina Ramirez of Fort Wayne and Tammy Rothgeb of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Pate of Bismark, IL; brother-in-laws, Michael Brooks of Doyline, LA and Ron Pate of Bismark, IL; three siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two siblings.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service to Concordia Gardens Cemetery.
