Diana K. Myers Ballard, age 60, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at her home in Auburn, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Bill and Kate Myers. Diana was an excellent cook and a devoted homemaker to her family and an avid animal lover who enjoyed caring for all the neighborhood cats. She is survived by her husband, Dan Ballard of Auburn, IN; son, William Myers III of Corona, IN; siblings, Bill (Kim) Myers of St. Joe, IN, Karen Maurer, Rosey Neuman, Wanda Banning, Jim Bowser all of Garrett, IN, and Keith Bowser of Plant City, FL. Diana was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Bowser. Service is 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one-hour prior. Calling also 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be to the Dekalb Humane Society.
