Destiny Spillers, 24, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away leaving behind memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Destiny was a graduate of R. Nelson Snider High School. She was a young woman with many talents, passions, and dreams. She had a special love for animals and enjoyed training them, showing patience and compassion.
Destiny was also passionate about beauty and creativity. She loved makeup and nails and pursued her passion as a licensed cosmetologist. She also shared her love for animals through her work at Rub A Dub Pet Grooming and Spa, where she was able to combine her caring nature with her love for animals.
Destiny was an alumni of Avenue Rehab, a part of her journey that reflected her strength and determination. She faced challenges in her life, but she continued to find ways to express herself and move forward.
One of Destiny's favorite ways to find peace and calm was through painting.
Destiny is survived by her mother, Katie (Michael) Lyles; siblings, Jonah (Onna) Shepler, Tyana Lyles, Jiraiya Lyles, Gauge Spillers, and Kaylee; grandparents, Danny (Jean) Shepler, and Vicki Roark; along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Jesse Spillers; and Aunt Lori Jaquish.
Services for Destiny will be held on Sunday September 6th 2026 at 3 pm with visitation beginning 1 hour prior at 2pm, all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services,6557 N. Clinton St.
Preferred memorials may be directed to the family in the care of Danny Shepler.
