Dennis Lee Waters, 74, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. Born in Wolf Lake, Indiana, Dennis was a son of the late John and Ilene Waters. Dennis graduated from Central High School class of 1965. He proudly served our country as a Vietnam War Navy Seabees veteran. Dennis worked for Dana for 32 years, prior to his retirement. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, cooking, shopping at Meijer, and watching NASCAR. He was always on the hunt for a good bargain. Surviving are his children, D. Troy (Linda) Waters, Stephanie Waters, Jeremy (Shelly) Waters, Dennis Waters Jr., William (Megan) Waters; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rick (Diane) Waters, Leanne (Mike) Tolley. Dennis was preceded in death by his siblings, Rhonda Woods, and Carol Reiter. Service is 1:30 pm, Friday, January 28, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 10:30 am until the service. Burial with military honors at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
