Denise S. Sanders' Obituary
Denise S. Sanders, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born to the late Lloyd and Verna (Perry) Kindlesparger in Fort Wayne on April 7, 1958. She graduated from Northrop High School and Parkview Methodist School of Nursing. Throughout her career she was an Operational Lead at Parkview Randallia and she helped start the EICU at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Denise retired from Parkview Hospital. After retiring, she worked as a travel nurse. She was a huge Star Trek fan. Denise loved traveling, crafting and gardening.
Denise is survived by her daughters, Kristina Gerig, Diana (Joshua) Sherry, and Kathryn (Joshua) Burt; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Connor, Colin, Kirsten, Dylan, Hayden, Benjamin, Felicity, Shelby, Maverick, and Calister; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Sanders and brother, David Kindlesparger.
Memorial service will be on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Central Ministries Leo Campus (14717 Amstutz Road, Leo, IN 46765) at 12:00 pm with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.
