Debra Jo Curtis, age 69, passed away at her home on March 11, 2026, in New Haven, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Jack and Myra Sorlie, and was a proud graduate of South Side High School, Class of 1974.

Debra worked for many years as a receptionist at a Pediatric Center in Connecticut, where she was known for her kindness and genuine care for the families she served. She loved the outdoors, especially time spent at the beach and camping, and found joy in the peaceful moments these places offered.

Debra is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jeff Curtis; children, Katie (Lance Medeiros) Bibeau and Jason Martin; two grandchildren, Zachary Wilcox and Seth Wilcox; an uncle; aunt; two nephews; and many cousins

She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Sorlie.

A Memorial Service is 10:00 am, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, March 27, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial at 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Oak Lawn Cemetery of Ossian, IN.
