Debra Ann Arnett, 67, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Deb was a daughter of the late Robert Stephens and Nancy (Beck) Long. Deb attended Prairie Heights High School. Deb and her husband James owned and operated Fort Wayne Hitch for many years. She had been managing the Angola Subway and loved being there and seeing all her customers. Family time and making memories was most important to Deb. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, and being outdoors fishing or camping. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, James Arnett; children, Kenneth Carnahan Jr., Jennifer (Nicholas) Motley, Jeremy (Ashley) Arnett, Alysia Cavender; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda, Florence, Cheryl; and brother, Kevin. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Stephens and Nancy (Beck) Long; biological father, John Alcorn; daughter, Angela Williams; and her brother, Jim. Calling is Friday, February 10, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. A graveside service will be 11 am, Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Parkview Home, Health, and Hospice.
