Deborah J. Knerr, age 68, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late George and Jean Snyder. Deb enjoyed teaching preschool in Harlan, Leo, and Fort Wayne and most recently worked as a receptionist with Parkview Health. She enjoyed traveling especially to sunny beaches, shopping, and her cats. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Allan Knerr; daughter, Angie Knerr of Fort Wayne; and many cousins. Deb was preceded in death by her son, Kyle Knerr. Service is 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
