Obituary
Deborah Lee Christensen, 71, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Deborah was the daughter of the late Bernard and Shirley (Hill) Kubas. During her working years, Deborah worked for several medical offices prior to her retirement. She absolutely loved to cook. You would often see her on her phone looking up recipes to improve her wonderful and tasty food. She took pride in her garden and it produced the herbs that she needed to cook. Deborah was a founding partner in Club Soda here in Fort Wayne. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandma to her family. Surviving are her husband, Dain Christensen; children, Jennifer Gomes, Siri Lent, Erica (Alex) Howell, Lauren Gomes; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Deborah was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Lee Young. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. Anthony Blvd, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Food Bank.
