Dawn L. Wilson, 48, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dawn was a daughter of the late Paul and Joann (Manter) Troutman. Dawn graduated from Elmhurst High School. She worked for Walmart for 20 years and served in their customer service department. Dawn had a love for animals at a young age and volunteered as a teenager for the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. She also enjoyed reading, watching forensic documentaries, and going out to eat. Surviving are her husband of 17 years, Mark Wilson; her beloved dog, Foxy; brother-in-law, Rick Grosjean; along with nephews, Jeremy, Chad, and Josh. Dawn was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Grosjean. A Celebration of Dawn's Life will be 12 noon, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene, 2951 Sand Point Road, with calling from 10 am until the service. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
