Dawn Marie Broyles, 55, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dawn was the daughter of David and Dianna James. She graduated from North Side High School, and earned her associates degree from Ivy Tech. Dawn worked in the medical field as a medical assistant. She loved her job and quickly became the go to person in the family when they had a medical and medicine question. Dawn and her husband Sam enjoyed traveling together in their mobile RV. Her selfless personality led her to always help those in need. Family was her life. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Sam Broyles; children, Joshua A Broyles, Melissa M. Broyles; grandchildren, Skyler, Chasidee, Gage, William, Keltin, and Kazlynn; siblings, Dennis James, and Deborah Ferrier. Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Dianna James. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday, January 12, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling will be Friday, January 11, 2018 at the funeral home, from 4 pm to 7 pm. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery in Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to The American Red Cross.
