David E. Wedler, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. Born the son of Thomas and Carol Wedler, he was a lifetime resident in Fort Wayne. David graduated from Northside High School, and started a career in painting. His passion, however, was for music. David played bass guitar and saxophone, and he played with lots of local bands for many years.

He is survived by one son, Derek (Cindy) Wedler, two daughters, Stacie Wedler and Jessica Wedler and five Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairhaven Funeral home 6557 N Clinton St. Fort Wayne.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 20, 2016 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-8:00pm at Fairhaven funeral home.
