Obituary
David L. Trout, age 63, passed away on January 13, 2026, at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Huntington, IN, he was the son of Donald and Helen Trout, who survive him.
A graduate of South Side High School, David spent his career doing what he loved, cooking. He worked as a cook at Casa’s, where his talent was evident to all who knew him. He will be remembered as a wonderful cook who enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
David was a member of New Life Lutheran Church of Fort Wayne
He is also survived by his siblings, Harold Trout, Candy Osburn, Sandy Shepherd, and Amanda (Jonathan) Fifer; and several nieces and nephews.
