David Alexander Tinsley, age 50, passed away Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 in Fort Wayne, IN while serving his community. He was born in Bloomington, IN to Albert and Bonnie Tinsley of Spencer, IN who survive. David was a graduate of Owen Valley High School of Spencer, IN and later completed his Bachelor's degree from Ball State University. He proudly served as a police officer for the Fort Wayne Police Department for 16 years. David was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was also an Eagle Scout. He is survived by his wife, Kristina Tinsley nee Jackson of Fort Wayne; children, Tyler (Kori Jennings) Tinsley of Richmond, IN, Ian (Rachel) Evener-Tinsley of Muncie, IN, and Alexandra "Lexie" Tinsley of Fort Wayne; siblings, Albert (Leann) Tinsley of Indianapolis, IN, Lane (Richard) Vargas of Bloomington, IN, and Scott Tinsley of Salem, IN. Service is 11:00 am, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd, with calling one-hour prior. Calling also Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the David A.
