David A. Stoops, age 67, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Harold and Mary Ellen Stoops. David worked as a welder with Nucor and most recently at Metaldyne. David is survived by his wife Debra Stoops; children, Joshua Stoops, Megan (Christopher) McDowd, and Steven (Alisa) Stoops; four grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Pat) Stoops and Bill (Kim) Stoops; and his sister-in-law, Joyce Stoops. He was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Gina Stoops; and brother, Gary Stoops.
