Obituary
David P. Lopez, 69, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Pedro and Helen Lopez. Dave graduated from Snider High School, in Fort Wayne and enjoyed working as a skilled laborer at Container Corporation for many years. He was very passionate about his work and set the example of a strong work ethic to everyone around him. Through everything he faced, he stayed strong and persevered. He was a wonderful dad, and grandfather, going out of his way taking care of his grandkids, Ayla and Liam. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of hard work, compassion, and love for others. Heaven gained a true angel. David is survived by his two children, Anthony Lopez, and Samantha Wagner; grandchildren, Devyn Yancey, Liam Thompson, and Ayla Thompson; great-granddaughter, Demila Yancey; two sisters, Susana Redd, and Norma Verduzco; brothers, Andy Lopez, Pete Lopez, George Lopez, Carl Lopez; wife, Kathleen Lopez; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
