David Franklin Langohr, 79, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, David was a son of the late Orville and Mary (Romery) Langohr. David graduated from Central Catholic High School. David served our country and was an Air Force veteran. He earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his working years, David worked at National Mill Supply for 20 years, prior to a 21-year career as shop manager for North Side Plumbing. David had a love for trains. His passion for trains led him to design and build a large train model set with custom buildings he took pride in. Surviving are his wife Betty Langohr, daughter, Giselle Bowser; stepchildren, Dawna (Roderick) Miller, Robert Earl (Katie) Gent Jr., Rick (Melissa) Gent; 10 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marjorie Langohr; along with many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. David was preceded in death by his siblings, John Langohr, Barbara Rogers and Carol Tromblay. Service is 3 pm, Sunday, September 15, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 1 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
