David "Dave" Karl Haberkorn, 76, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Theodore E. and Esther (Hauke) Haberkorn on September 20, 1947 in Fort Wayne. Dave a graduate of Eastside High School, was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from Verizon. He was a member of First Assembly of God, American Legion and of Fort Wayne Jaycees.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Audrey; children, Erik Haberkorn and Tera Hogan; grandchildren, Treg (Chandler), Delaney, Isabelle, Aislyn and Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Truett and Charlee Jo; brothers, Philip and Mark Haberkorn; sister-in-law, Martha (John) Havener and Cathy (Jim) Wood; brother-in-law, Bob (Janine) Flesher; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Haberkorn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Mary Flesher and brother-in-law, Dave Flesher.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service to Riverside Cemetery in St. Joe, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
