David Allen Crace, 72, passed away at his home Friday, November 12, 2021. Born in Fort Wayne, David was the son of the late William and Isabelle Crace. He spent many years traveling the western United States, working in portrait photography and sales, retiring from Lifetouch in 2010, where he received many awards, including Portrait Photographer of the Year in 2003. After retirement he enjoyed being part of Fort Wayne's various farmers markets, where he sold his beloved wife Susie's handcrafted jewelry. David came from a musical family and loved singing and playing harmonica. He was thoughtful and devoted to his family and always remembered birthdays.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susie Crace, daughter Leah Cody and son-in-law Shannon, stepson Jan, stepdaughter Clea, favorite nephew Nathan David Brown, sister Susan Cincotta, brothers William, Kenneth and Daniel, and six nephews and nine nieces. David was preceded in death by his son Ian J. Crace, sisters Linda Brown and Patricia Crace, and brother Warren. Memorial visitation will be at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Monday November 15th 2021 from 4-6 PM and a Memorial Service to begin at 6pm. Preferred Memorials to Parkview Hospice.
