David Christlieb, age 56, passed away at his home on June 1, 2025. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents and his first wife, Christine Christlieb. He is survived by his stepsons John Harper and David (Tayler) Hancock, and his aunt, Lona Anti; and his former wife, Stacy Singleton. Dave never had an unkind word for anyone, was a loyal friend, always willing to lend a hand, and loved his people unconditionally. He was living proof that you don't have to be related by blood to be family. Many people, young and old, considered him family. A graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, David earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the St. Vincent Scouts of America, Troop 2. He enjoyed boating, camping, and spending time with his many friends. He worked for many years with the Allen County Highway Department and for AmeriGas. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., with the service and sharing to begin at 7:30 p.m., at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Preferred memorials may be directed to St. Vincent Scouts Troop 2.
